Valgy Jewellery was founded by Francesca Gould in 2020. The label is named after the designer’s Icelandic grandmother, Valgerdur. Collections are inspired by heritage, nature and the arts, with a particular focus on different eras in art history. Valgy Jewellery is designed in Australia, and made in Indonesia.

Francesca graduated from Art History and Curatorship at the Australian National University. Art and design have always played a huge role in her life.

Valgy prides itself on being an ethical, sustainable and fair trade label. The designer visits our manufacturer regularly, and has a good relationship with the team. Our manufacturing team members are paid fairly, and we pay a fair price for the production of our pieces.

We use recycled padded bags to post our jewels. Jewellery is packaged in our branded boxes and pouches. These are then wrapped in paper wrap, a recyclable and environmentally friendly option to bubble wrap.
